Pablo Picasso

Pablo Picasso’s work is pretty cool. I mean I didn’t know what to think if his work at first,  but then I thought, "it’s a little different so who care". Picasso was part of the cubism movement. He did many types: paintings, drawings, sculptures, and ceramics. I think that is kind of crazy, because most artists focus on what type of art, but Picasso stretched his ability. Picasso was born in Malaga, Spain. He had a nice childhood. It was good, because his father loved art as well. So, he was supported by his family to purse art. One thing that I think is unique and original about his work is the fact that he makes realistic human figures, like in La Vie, but also then he makes human figures that are distorted and full of color, like in The portrait of Dora Maar. Overall, I think Picasso’s work is different and I love it!
