For this project, I struggled greatly because I was not sure what to do with so much freedom. Using my love of "doodling" and trying new things I was able to make 10 works.
One of the pieces liked the most by my classmates was the piece with wood, green paint, and sharpie designs. I combined three mediums I love working with. This piece was also one of my favorite to make. The designs could be considered
random, but there is a pattern created by the strokes of paint. The main focus of this piece were the small designs.

In this piece, I focused more on the painting itself. I love making shapes with the paint strokes and combining different colors to create a work that is versatile. I love the idea of using a color and it's light and dark version. It can create an amazing pallette. I think the reason why this piece was liked so much was because of the design/pattern made.
This was also liked by classmates. This idea came out of nowhere and was thought of on the spot, but I think I can go far with this. I wanted to do a work that repesented the idea of being "broken". So I decided to use Cds. I believe that this work really opened my eyes to what I can put in my art. The way it plays tricks with your eyes and shows colors is somethinig I want to research and hopefully put into my future projects.
